I’m new to Steam and pc gaming, grabbed an OLED deck a little bit ago. I’m looking for recommendations for FPS and RPGs that I can play offline. I’ve never played any of the Elder Scrolls stuff should I grab one of them? What do you suggest?

Yeah I know what you mean about the “empty” feeling. Lemmy.world site info on the tab has 2.2k users a day and under 6k a week. Those are miniscule numbers compared to almost anywhere on Reddit.
I too used to post daily here to help generate content but got down voted so badly the thread was deleted, so now I don’t post.

The key is decentralization, if an instance gets wonky, it can be cut off from the rest of the fediverse. Or at least sections of it. I suspect in the future there will be “blobs” of instances with little to no interaction with other blobs.
