Apple popularised two things that bug the shit out of me in addition to everything you said. “on iPhone” “on iPad” just sounds utterly wrong. It needs to be “on the iPhone” “on the iPad”. Now everyone is doing it.
The other is " breathlessly were excited to announce/we’re excited to share with you/we’re excited!!!big fucking cheesy grin". The whole point of having that whole “excited” or whichever adjective you want at that point of the sentence is to prep you and let you know what you’re supposed to feel. If it’s that good surely you shouldn’t have to tell me what I need to feel.

No thanks. They were, on balance, still a terrible CM.

- Comment on Paramount Has A Plan To Bring Star Trek Back To The Big Screen, Says Roddenberry Entertainment Exec 8 months ago:
Yeah, I’m in the same boat. I’d like more Trek out beyond the current lore, it’s own thing that is in the same universe but not directly tied to anything we’ve got. Star Trek is running into that Skywalker’s everywhere issue that Star Wars has.
The best idea I’ve seen so far (IMHO) steals from Stargate by sending a ship via a transwarp one way-esque jump to another galaxy. That lets you star fresh but still dip into the existing lore if/when. Then as the series goes on slowly but surely Starfleet gets more of a foothold, builds a star base/outpost, transwarp link-thing, you get more ships, more people, more spinoffs etc.
Struck me as a “clean” start of sorts.

Naive/naïve?
I searched for “nahive” just in case it was a word I hadn’t heard of but it doesn’t seem to be.
- Comment on What normies see when someone posts here claiming Disco isn't canon 8 months ago:
I’ve always been of the opinion that something is cannot if the owners say it is. Doesn’t mean I like it but I accept it. This is coming from the person who doesn’t like that they don’t respect ship names and registrations in Picard S3. Excelsior is NCC-2000 (insert Letter) no 90-odd thousand and something! /Rant

The three things I spotted were hangar bay has a fin typ thing above it, there’s an extra bit on the rear of the “neck” from saucer to engineering hill and the position and rake of the pylons is shorter on the Nemesis version which brings the nacelles forward a touch and opens up the rear of the engineering hill a bit.

I hate that I just sat and did a spot the difference on these images. I feel like I am propping up a stereotype.

I love how my description of basically “it’s a website in searches” was enough for someone to figure it out 😄
- Comment on They tried 1 year ago:
There’s a medical website that appears in top searches (forget the name) that does it too but yeah, mostly seems to be news websites but not the big ones. In most cases Unlock Origin or the like can hide the panel they throw up to choose if you really need the info or archive or 12ft ladder can get you the info.

I really enjoyed his arc. You knew he was dodgy from the first minute but his character was allowed to toy with his past and his skills and the like with little glimpses. Plus Andrew Robinson really chewed the scenery when he was allowed.
