- Comment on YSK the Venezuelans community in the US is not representative of Venezuelans as a whole. 1 day ago:
YSK Maduro was fully impeached by the Venezuelan version of Congress and he used his military power to just stay in office and further silence dissent. Your post is either ill informed at best or at worst propaganda. The US does a lot of terrible things and this likely not the way or time to do this. 20-25% of Venezuelans have left and those were the ones with the will or luck to do so. Imagine how many others want to leave. Of the 75-80% of the population maybe support has grown just using math of the opposers leaving. Those people probably want to go back to their country if it were in a state to return to.
- Comment on Dell and Lenovo may limit mid-range laptops to 8GB DDR5 RAM in response to rising memory prices 1 week ago:
This is not limiting mid-range laptops. This is making more low-range laptops. Just because you’re making more lower tiered laptops doesn’t mean the midrange adjusts as mid-range is based on specs/performance. This is basic taxonomy.
The average laptop produced by these 2 manufacturers will see a decrease in specs.

The trades problem is a typical small business problem with toxic work environments. I knew plenty that washed out of the trades because of that. The “nobody wants to work anymore” tradesmen but really it’s “nobody wants to work with me for what I’m willing to pay”
- Comment on ChatGPT 5 power consumption could be as much as eight times higher than GPT 4 — research institute estimates medium-sized GPT-5 response can consume up to 40 watt-hours of electricity 4 months ago:
This is nonsense, an M1 runs many multiples faster and at much lower wattage.

There’s a lot of radioactive thorium to be found in coal ash leftover from power plants. I am not worried about this.

I completely agree with you. So many phones are business tools. Forcing your employer to use the App Store is good. Side loading fly by night bullshit is a risk and lack of oversight the world just doesn’t need. If you want that stuff get an android.
