News news news, it may also be using a game controller to translate user input into character actions.
- Comment on What do allergies feel like for you? 1 month ago:
I get really bad brain fog. It’s like I wake up and feel my IQ has halved. Simple problems seem gigantic, everything is a hassle. On top of that - general fatigue, like walking up the stairs or running a bit gets me all breathless. Even though I should be familiar with it by now, I always keep thinking: “is it COVID?”
Then one day it rains and the pollen subsides and suddenly I can run and think and feel like myself again.
- Comment on Sony announces the PS5 Pro with a larger GPU, advanced ray tracing, and AI upscaling 2 months ago:
It’s a pity SONY didn’t have any games to announce alongside the new console. There is nothing or there I feel like I need more power to play, and I already completed games they demoed, sometimes years ago.

Truly, a lineup worthy of all these Billions of dollars spent in acquisitions and thousands of lives fucked with layoffs.

Yakuza 2 on Steam Deck, after completing (not 100%) Y0 and Y1. Planning to keep playing them in order, until Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth comes out.
I’m new to the series, and loving it. Can’t wait to get back home (traveling now) and move from Deck to my PC, high resolution and maxed quality.
- Comment on ‘Front page of the internet’: how social media’s biggest user protest rocked Reddit 10 months ago:
None of the Reddit interfaces were ever any good IMHO. The service was only usable thanks to third party readers that redefined its user experience. Without them it’s about as pleasant as gopher.
- Comment on ‘Front page of the internet’: how social media’s biggest user protest rocked Reddit 10 months ago:
Yup. Both the desktop website and the official app are garbage UX. With no third party app option, I could not use Reddit even if I wanted to.
- Comment on Saints Row – free to keep today on Epic Games Store 10 months ago:
I use Epic launcher for all my Unreal work. Still, I can’t be bothered to turn on the games store and redeem free games - while willingly paying for new ones on Steam. The UX is just that bad.
- Comment on Is the word Alphabet literally just a conjunction made from the first two letters of the Greek alphabet? 10 months ago:
Fun fact - in Polish language the word alfabet exists as a technical name of the alphabet. There is also a more casual word, often used by children: abecadło which is basically polish way of saying “The ABCs”.

- Comment on How to remove smell from lunch box? 11 months ago:
Whenever I’m in doubt about cleaning, I try sprinkling a good amount of baking soda and then pouring copious amounts of vinegar, then letting it do its thing. It’s an inexpensive experiment to try and could solve your problem.
- Comment on i made a speadsheet to get through my backlog a while ago and today i hit my milestone for the year. 11 months ago:
THAT’s a long list? I have more unplayed titles INSTALLED than this whole spreadsheet. I once attempted to create a system to organize my backlog but just gave up due to volume. I think I may have a game hoarding problem.

- Comment on GTA 6 is likely to skip PC again and only launching on current gen consoles 11 months ago:
Naturally. Rockstar likes to resell their titles no less than Bethesda. They will sell it to you on PS5 and series x/s, then again on PS6 and whatever Xbox will be around. Then probably Nintendo platform, finally PC.
This way they maximize the amount of times some people will buy the same game, each time with minimal quality upgrade.
Same as their previous titles. It’s not that they didn’t learn. They have the numbers and know very well what they’re doing.

- Comment on GTA 6 trailer coming Tuesday, Rockstar announces 11 months ago:
The two GTAs I actually lived and finished are from before Rockstar era: GTA and GTA2 - the 2D ones. I played all the big open world Rockstar titles (except for Bully) and I think I’m just not the right audience for what they are making.

The 2008 Prince of Persia.
What was expected to be a start of a series revival, flopped and ended up with a kinda messy PC port, platform exclusive DLC epilogue and eventually abandonment in favor of return to sands of time mythos.
Meanwhile it is my favorite entry in the series - with amazing art direction, and lovely character development and vocal performances by two main characters. The gameplay is a cross of guitar hero and parkour - it’s much more rhythm based and perhaps less expensive, but pulling off a perfect run feels soooo good.
I love the game so much that even though I’m not a YouTuber, I created a full playthrough and published it - just so I can stop wanting to play it again every few years.
