I never got it to fully work right with my setup, but there are converters that will go from displayport to HDMI 2.2. Apparently there is a club 3d branded adapter that mostly works.

86box is a little different than dosbox in that it fully emulates the hardware. Performance might still be an issue in your case, though. I have an emulated voodoo banshee system for playing old games and it works great for my use case of supporting old glide games.

If this is a serious question; they are from the program glxgears which is an opengl test program that renders them. So yes, they are 3d.
