- Comment on I really need these games ported to Steam. What do y'all have on your lists? 4 days ago:
Infamous 1 and 2, I’d love a remake to be honest but I’ll take a simple port.
- Comment on What open-world games on Steam have satisfying movement, like Arkham Knight or Spider-Man? 4 days ago:
Dying Light 2 has the best traversal I’ve seen in an open world, it had a very solid base coming from the original but it expanded it with new moves and tools.

I was really hoping this was April Fools

- Comment on Which co-op first person shooters would you recommend? 4 weeks ago:
Mmm, the structure is more or less the same, you now have 2 (3 with dlc) stories per world that you can get each reroll.
- Comment on Which co-op first person shooters would you recommend? 4 weeks ago:
The first game felt like a really cool tech demo with the occasional cool boss here and there.
The sequel is that concept turned into a proper game. Each world now has it’s own mini-campaign that ends in a final boss with dialogue, minor choices and everything.
The bosses are my favorite part though, the main ones are extremely creative and polished, especially the final one.

It’s a big improvement on every area, especially the bosses and levels.
It’s the kind of game that makes it hard to go back to the original.

That’s fine, have fun then.

Remnant 2, it’s third person but it’s one of my favorite games ever.
- Comment on Gaming has a polarization problem 4 weeks ago:
I’ll be honest, I downloaded Avowed through gamepass and couldn’t stand it for more than 4 hours.
It’s about as dull as a game can be and doesn’t excel at anything, even when compared to games that released 15 years ago.
Do I think it’s garbage? No, but I also would not recommend it to anyone, it’s not worth their time nor money.

30 seconds? You better put some Subway Surfers there or I’m out.

I didn’t know you guys were on Lemmy! Great job on the stream, everything looked great.

Have you seen what the recent UE5 games play like? Not even frame generation can make them run smoothly.
I honestly prefer creation.
- Comment on [TerakJK] Avowed vs The Outer Worlds - Obsidian's previous game - Attention to detail. 1 month ago:
I didn’t get that far to be honest, the first world felt so by the numbers that I just kinda never picked it back up and looked up the rest of the story online.
I can’t say I missed much and my expectations for the next one are about as low as they can get at this point.
- Comment on [TerakJK] Avowed vs The Outer Worlds - Obsidian's previous game - Attention to detail. 1 month ago:
I thought Outer Worlds was a pretty mid but Avowed is not grabbing me at all so far.
- Comment on From Bloodborne, The Witcher 3, Metal Gear Solid V will turn 10 in 2025, believe it or not 2 months ago:
You do realize we got Baldurs Gate 3 in the last few years, right?
- Comment on BlackMythWukong has received 4 nomintations from TGA!! 4 months ago:
I can’t believe Shadow of the Erdtree got nominated over Helldivers or Space Marine 2. It’s a DLC and it’s not even that good compared to the base game.

I’m just glad I came back for the Elder God Wars year, that was some of the best RuneScape content we’ve ever gotten.

I quit when they announced the membership increase a few months ago.
I’ve been logging on for the new updates since my membership lasts until next month but they have all been pretty much terrible since.
It really saddens me to see the game go down this path.
- Comment on ‘Unknown 9: Awakening’ Arrives To 200 Steam Players, Poor Reviews 5 months ago:
The article honestly reads like they are glad the game failed.
I haven’t played it but, from reviews, it seems to be a pretty decent AA game with poor marketing.
- Comment on Starfield Design Director Responds To Shattered Space Criticism 5 months ago:
$30 for such a half-assed DLC is a pretty big ask though, Skyrim had Dragonborn which was much bigger and cheaper as well.
- Comment on Bethesda Believes Starfield Now Has "Its Own Fanbase" 5 months ago:
I like the game but the latest DLC is utter crap, I’m not paying $30 for that.
- Comment on My PC Survived Star Wars: Jedi Survivor 5 months ago:
My main problem with the game is that they locked animation cancelling to one of the 5 stances.
This means you are locked into Cal’s flashy spinning attack animations while your opponent decides to do a quick attack that comes out faster than your recovery.
It makes the game feel extremely jank when you take into account that they also gave almost every single enemy those red unlockable attacks AND that the dodge roll is gone in favor of the most useless side step I’ve ever seen.
So, it feels like you are piloting a tank rather than an agile Jedi with inhumane reflexes, something the first game didn’t struggle with at all.
- Comment on Corporate greed is killing RuneScape. What do people play instead? 5 months ago:
This is going to be a weird suggestion but, if you like the pvm aspect of killing bosses to get powerful loot and take on more difficult challenges, you should play Remnant 2.
It’s a souls like shooter about exploring a few different worlds searching for new gear so you can make better builds, loot is not randomized so there is a clear BiS for your build.
