  I could swear Apple was poised to partner with YMTC for NAND flash in some of their products, in certain global markets, several years before this memory shit show but were blue balled by the U.S. government over “security” concerns.

  I need to dig up the credible-sounding tech vlog on the subject I recently listened to. I believe it was actually a Gamers Nexus video.

  Either way a stronger 4th party feels like a welcome addition, even if for no other reason than if it satisfies the chinese market it would maybe free up capacity elsewhere.

  Is it currently possible to background transfer a game install from external HDD to SSD while playing a game? As far as I recall the PS5 did not allow that early into the system’s launch.

  Not to simp for Sony, but if it is possible then I don’t think NVMe disk space is a massive issue. The system at least has a 10gbps usb-c port for external drive transfer.

  I’m not very inclined to take at face value what a studio founder has to say about a service that might make them less money, and might save their customers money.

  Nobody is forcing studios or publishers at gunpoint to release on a subscription service.

  God, I still remember struggling for hours, days because zmI didn’t specifically type “Get out from boat”, in Kings Quest II.

  The upgraded sprites look like mobile game rejects.

  Succinctly put. I feel like the original vision did not intend for them to look so cartoonish. While limited by the 640x480 256 colour pallette display, they still represented a more serious design.

  Starcraft 1 remaster looked so better, too. Was that done by the same team?
