- Comment on Riley Testut launches Delta game emulator on App Store - shows middle finger to Europe 7 months ago:
It’s the opposite of giving the EU the middle finger, it’s taking advantage of them opening the system. Just because Apple lists it doesn’t prevent them from taking it down off the App Store; having it loaded from his own does.

- Comment on YSK: The "Troubled Teen" industry that was big in the 90's and 2000's was not only a complete sham, but was (and STILL is) horrifically abusive and traumatic. 8 months ago:
Last Podcast on the Left did a series on this and it’s horrifying. I will never understand the capacity for humans to be so intolerably cruel to others.
- Comment on Frozen embryos are “children,” according to Alabama’s Supreme Court 8 months ago:
My wife and I had our son via IVF. We wanted every single one of our fertilized eggs to work, but they didn’t. We had one that did and we suffered every time one didn’t.
Fuck Alabama for adding on to the torment and emotional suffering families going through IVF and any kind of infertility suffer already. It’s just adding unspeakable cruelty again.
- Comment on Apple to Remove Blood-Oxygen Sensor From Watch to Avoid U.S. Ban 10 months ago:
“What should we do? Just PAY the developer for the feature? Nah, we’ll just continue to file lawsuits and eventually settle in the inevitable class action from buyers which will certainly not be more than what we would have spent just licensing it in the first place”
Look, I’m not one for patent trolling, but this is pretty blatant on Apple’s end and as a Series 9 owner it’s annoying because it’s a feature I upgraded for that I’ll lose access to just because they don’t want to be told they’re wrong. Such corporate bullshit.

I was going to say, I sold phones a while back too for 5 years. It’s amazing how much stuff people leave on their phones and that you don’t want to see. And yeah, you’re saying they should know but many don’t. Every trade in things specifically says to wipe the device prior to trade in and gives instructions on how to do so.

- Comment on 'This is only the beginning': Metal Gear Solid fans lose their minds as David Hayter returns to voice Solid Snake in a new teaser 1 year ago:
What they need to do is take whoever the next director of the game is going to be, strap them to a chair Clockwork Orange style and mix the entire Criterion Collection and Evangelion for about a year or two.
Then just for good measure have them write a page of names and slap them anytime a name nears anything of normal.
Then, and only then, should they be allowed to start working.
- Comment on US to build new nuclear gravity bomb 1 year ago:
Honestly… this is kind of how that might happen? Defense spending and research has always been the vanguard of technological development and then it’s waylaid to private sector development and R&D.
Once it’s proven effective they can then reverse engineer it to do something constructive.
Because the US can’t be bothered to find non blow-uppy projects until later.
