It’s not necessarily to nothing, it could be a very pro electric lighter.

Where’s the Fein] gang at? (Had to generate the image with AI so don’t look too closely at it).

Cool, now do it over Ping!
- Comment on A preview of FOSS video generative AI 8 months ago:
It’s his distinct style that he has kept since before most of us tried anything like ChatGPT etc, so personally I welcome his consistency.
- Comment on I had to design a simple general purpose language for university, so I tried creating "ZoomerScript" with Jetbrains MPS 8 months ago:
It’s really cool, but the example doesn’t produce any sensible output? If you have created something like this, why wouldn’t you have your demo output something sensible like Fibonacci or 1337 or whatever.
- Comment on Star Trek on LaserDisc, if you've got the right equipment, it looks amazing! (samples in the description) 9 months ago:
That’s awesome! How do you use Topaz in this flow?
- Comment on How bad are search results? Let's compare Google, Bing, Marginalia, Kagi, Mwmbl, and ChatGPT 9 months ago:
No it isn’t. He for example evaluate that Kagi and marginalis get the same score if you have to read as far down as to the 10th result for Kagi, while marginalis has no answer. How is that the same score? There is no explanation. There is a lot of text, and then in the end he has made some subjective choices.

There is no excuse for LastPass and it absolutely should not be treated with your passwords or secrets.
- Comment on Study shows Tesla owners have most car accidents, but Ram has the worst drivers 10 months ago:
Afaik most Tesla accidents are due to people not used to such a powerful car / acceleration and bump into stuff? I don’t think the majority of insurance cases for Tesla has anything to do with self driving.
- Comment on Beeper Mini Is Back 11 months ago:
It’s not entirely true. In Scandinavia for example, iPhone is the majority market share, on average higher than that of United States.
- Comment on Forever and always 11 months ago:
It’s just utterly amazing how well that picture represents each of the actors personalities.

I can’t find any source for the numbers from Vietnam and WW2 in the linked sources.
- Comment on Google Bard can now watch YouTube videos for you 11 months ago:
Oh cool, just tested with !sumk on random YouTube share link in Safari on iOS and it worked like a champ.
Even when I asked about how to do this in the Kagi discord channel I didn’t get this answer, so thanks! To everyone else, check out Kagi, it’s awesome :)
- Comment on Google Bard can now watch YouTube videos for you 11 months ago:
Just use www.summarize.tech, and if the transcript is too long, send it to a summarize like Kagi.

It’s true that you tend to be more tech literate if you choose Linux. However, it doesn’t mean you can’t be tech literate if you choose Windows or MacOS, which many Linux “advocates” seem to firmly believe. The same goes for “power users” arguments etc.
- Comment on [deleted] 1 year ago:
lol what does “power users” have to do with it? Do you seriously believe power users only run Linux?
- Comment on Boston Dynamics turned its robot dog into a talking tour guide with ChatGPT 1 year ago:
Lol, I love AI and develop with it almost every day. AI wasn’t the problem here, it was just weird to me that it was Boston Dynamics making this video. It was really surprising tbh. It’s a video I expect from someone doing this on their hobby RC car project or something.
- Comment on Boston Dynamics turned its robot dog into a talking tour guide with ChatGPT 1 year ago:
Then I agree. I guess that’s why I didn’t find this very interesting - you could strap speakers and ChatGPT to anything really, it has very little to do with the robot.
- Comment on Boston Dynamics turned its robot dog into a talking tour guide with ChatGPT 1 year ago:
How do you mean the robots embraced the personalities?
- Comment on Does anyone drink instant coffee anymore? 1 year ago:
Put a little salt in it! It helps a lot especially with the cheaper brands.

It’s cool that the option exist, but it isn’t worth it to me.
- Comment on EU reopens probe into Adobe's $20 billion acquisition of Figma 1 year ago:
Looks nice from a quick look! Clearly a plan to be recognizable to Figma fans.
Do you have an honest opinion on how feature complete it is compared to Figma? Does it have something like Figjam?
- Comment on What the heck, YouTube? 1 year ago:
Much appreciated, thanks again for the suggestion.
- Comment on What the heck, YouTube? 1 year ago:
Yes but as I said I don’t want to be logged in to Google in my browser.
- Comment on What the heck, YouTube? 1 year ago:
Right. But I don’t just watch random videos from links. YouTube is my main media platform where I have tons of subscriptions and good recommendations.
I just hoped I could keep that without paying for premium, but it might actually be the best option for me.
- Comment on EU reopens probe into Adobe's $20 billion acquisition of Figma 1 year ago:
Ohhh f… I love Figma. We have promoted it as a great tool internally. Company started using it. Then the enterprise.
No way i or anyone else here will start to pay Adobe prices for it!
- Comment on What the heck, YouTube? 1 year ago:
I guess the main downside for me having to be logged in to something Google while browsing other websites, and I don’t think I can be bothered logging in / out all the time
- Comment on What the heck, YouTube? 1 year ago:
OK so it’s that easy? I won’t use Brave, but will try from Safari and Orion. Thanks
- Comment on What the heck, YouTube? 1 year ago:
No I don’t want piped, like the recommendations in YouTube. No way I’ll side load.
Sounds like Premium is a good choice for me personally.
