This is cool, but I hate that the article basically says "you should just watch the video and I'm going to report on essentially nothing." No motherfucker. I want to read it.
- Comment on Baltimore County educator framed principal with AI-generated voice, police say 6 months ago:
I thought it was particularly interesting that the only official to initially reserve judgment and fight for the principal was from their union. Unions are so important and are proving their use again and again. Also, the idiot who made the deep fake was caught essentially stealing from the school, and retaliated using the schools network to access everything he used to retaliate. Like, this is not a smart human. Some people really think they are the star of their own little movie. Real life doesn't have plot armor you dumbass.

I'm relieved this is universal. I thought I was going crazy. I've actually begun to give them a ton of space on the road now. I'll purposefully take a different road, or on the freeway, get over to right lane and slow down to get the fuck away from them. It seems like they are making a point to drive as terribly as possible. It's fucking crazy.

I prefer the world and characters in mk. Sf is a superior online gaming experience, so I end up playing it way more. But i still love mk.
- Comment on are people still all riled up about beehaw? 9 months ago:
It's nice to know that the odds of encountering bots, trolls, and bigots are incredibly low. Yes, there is less content, but it's the only place I don't have to scroll passed vitriol and misinformation regularly. It's wonderful.
- Comment on are people still all riled up about beehaw? 9 months ago:
I have an account with beehaw. It's my favorite place on the internet. I think most of us are happy with the way it has panned out. Some discussion here and there of potentially leaving activitypub altogether. If it happens, I will follow. If it doesn't I will stay. Beehaw is too special for those of us it speaks to and works for. I don't see it dying anytime soon, that's for sure.

I'm pleased that this was just a nice article to read. A sweet sentiment to share. Maybe a bit obvious, but it's good to ruminate on the positive and light hearted sometimes.
- Comment on KFC be like... 10 months ago:
Your reading comprehension needs some work. I explicitly said that this is clearly a case of diminishing quality, which could be attributed to the example you listed or any one of many other terrible corporate practices. Then I said in a social sense, I don't see a downside to the general idea of Americans eating less fried chicken. I was elaborating past the original point of the post.

So this is about kfc, so it's clearly an example of a corporation being cheap af and diminishing quality. But like, on the lighter more social side of things, I dunno. This kind of speaks to the fact that as Americans we have a totally distorted view of how big animals are. Also, we have no concept of what reasonable portion sizes are. I think smaller pieces of fried chicken is probably a good thing for most of us healthwise lol. Ideally, it would reflect more responsible chicken farming. I mean, this is kfc, so I know that's not the case here. But in general, I don't see any real downsides to smaller pieces of fried chicken. We eat too much as it is lol.

I worked at a library in college. It was amazing. Truly one of my favorite jobs I've had. Libraries are legitimately one of the best things about modern society. Go support your local library folks!!

Definitively no.

What a hateful thing to say. Your christ would be disgusted.

So, to summarize, it means absolutely nothing.
- Comment on Netflix removes its basic tier in the US and the UK 1 year ago:
All of these internet corporations really thought they were institutions that could not be rattled. They forget that in the grand scheme of things they have been around for no time at all and consumers will be happy to move to whatever comes along next.
