  The AI that you’re describing probably won’t even be possible (if it even is possible. We don’t even fully understand human intelligence/brains yet) until quantum computing is ubiquitous so your whole argument is illogical.

  For my own silly sci-fi take, I believe our brains are probably closer to quantum computing than traditional computing.

  If you want something on the EQ2 end of the spectrum give Horizon XI a try. It is a private server for FFXI, square’s first mmo. The amount of work put into it is incredible for a private server. Lots of devs and is very polished.

  Not likely but could be that the bank is compromised. Not that it makes much difference, but is it a major bank? Do you have cards from other banks that don’t get stolen regularly? Do you use a specific local atm regularly? Always tug of the card scanners at ATMs and gas pumps to ensure a skimmer isn’t being used. If there is a skimmer you will likely be able to pull it off or it will wiggle in a strange way, letting you know it’s not “stock”

  This is the generation of adults who, when younger, were likely candidates to have been in the pic of Steam where everyone was “boycotting” mw2 but also like 80% of them were playing it anyway. They just grew up and got their own netflix accounts lol

  The gaming industry has seen this sentiment of “I’m going to get you with my wallet, billion dollar corporation!” for decades now and it falls flat every. single. time. No commentary on whether that’s good or bad, just an observation I’m sure most of us have made who have been around long enough.
