Setup a Plex or Jellyfin server and put on it what you want them to watch. This is what I did and it has been a huge help.

Fiber internet has spoiled me. 20mb would be unbearably slow, it is shameful that this is even considered to be the standard.

I used a tool that edited my comments to replace it with gibberish. Supposedly Reddit still retains deleted comments but if you edit them, it only keeps the latest version. So by editing it you make the comments worthless.

- Comment on YSK: Your local library's resources. Many offer free e-books and audio books via apps like Hoopla and Libby, resume writing classes, movies, games...and a quiet place to relax of course 9 months ago:
Our local library even offers free access to things like LinkedIn Learning which are essentially video courses on thousands of topics. This is basically a savings of $40 a month.

It’s not about how many they can manufacture, it’s about how many they actually sell to consumers. I have given up trying to buy them. It’s just not worth the hassle.

- Comment on How to keep carpet clean? 10 months ago:
It does work but we still use a small spot carpet cleaner right away. This helps to keep things from getting bad. Our dogs rarely have accidents in the house (it’s been over a year since the last one) but they seem to find other ways to make a mess.
- Comment on How to keep carpet clean? 10 months ago:
Our house is a high traffic house where we have lots of visitors as well as 3 dogs so my schedule is going to reflect that.
- Vacuum twice weekly. On Monday with a robot vacuum, then on Wednesday with a Dyson for a deeper clean.
- Spot shampoo when there are accidents.
- Shampoo all carpets once every 3 months.
- Have carpets professionally cleaned once a year in the spring.
Ultimately the problem is how dirt enters your home. Our house would be a million times cleaner if we didn’t have dogs. They track in dirt and it is just a pain to control.
