I don’t remember if it did when I used it. Our convention was to -2 your own change until it was ready to go 😅

I think an independent thruster controls mod would be great. Space drifting in elite with 6 degrees of freedom was so much fun.

Most low level enemies drop weapons that only deal between 3 - 11 damage, which are basically useless against anything higher than level 5. I found some higher level weapons in a shop that dealt 30 - 40 damage and found they made combat much more fun.
As I progressed however, I noticed that enemy levels in a location were distributed:
- 4-5 low level
- 10-15 med level
- 1-5 high level
So there is still a problem with bullet sponges. I keep an overpowered shotgun (med damage, high rate of fire, explosions on crit) with me and just bum rush the high level enemies with that. Otherwise you’d be shooting them all day with your 40 damage rifle.
As you go on, those high level enemies drop weapons that do more damage, so there is progression…. But you also just encounter higher level enemies with more health so the problem continues.
I see that there are already combat rebalance mods on nexus, the kind I’ve used on Fallout games in the past, and I’ll probably install one of those when I decide to start a new play through. (Which, I definitely will. I’m enjoying the game a lot overall despite there being some tedious aspects)

I’ll figure out something, I always do, I just thought it would be nice to see what route others have taken with their own servers.
Yeah for sure. Sorry I don’t have a good answer
turned their email over to Microsoft and we’ve had nothing but non-stop spam, phishing attacks, outages, and the constant push of "oh if you’re not going to use a Microsoft product.
Just wanna share that my experience does not mirror this. I pay them $6/ user per month (which is just me, for me, personally], to be fair), which gets me that hosted exchange server 365 thing. I only use MS 365 products in my browser, and have no complaints. I don’t require any of the features that are locked behind full-installation variants of their products - and besides that I’ve had no problem with spam email especially.
Im not sure I would recommend that you tell your friends to authenticate with your own Active directory instance necessarily, but ultimately at the end of the day if you’re dealing with
users
you’ll need some kind of authentication (imo) - Comment on Any recommendations of countries to block from server logins? 1 year ago:
Oof yeah. You’re well into admin territory here.
I mean I’m just some layman on the internet, but I would look at tying in some authentication layer to get your 2FA, although it would inconvenience your users users.
Do your users use this service for srs business?
I don’t know if I have anything else to add to this discussion. It’s gotten more complex than what “just an email server” can provide imo

If you’re in one location, I would say lock it down. White list instead of blacklist if possible.
Beside the point, have you considered the reasons why you might not want to run your own email server in todays age? It’s a fun activity, but if you want it for serious use it’s not for the faint of heart (unfortunately).
- Comment on Two US Navy sailors charged with giving Chinese spies secret military info 1 year ago:
Yeah. It always shocks me at how cheaply these people offer this information. Even going back to the Cold War, Aldrich Ames was selling info that directly led to peoples’ deaths for just 10s of thousands of dollars. Nowadays people are selling details of billion dollar ships for less than the price of a new car.
Security is hard
- Comment on Google raising price of YouTube Premium to $13.99 per month 1 year ago:
Not really though? Apple makes good hardware and operating systems, and generally have a good privacy-forward stance when it comes to software (in my opinion).
Unfortunately it’s not as cut and dry as “use Gentoo” - if my ad revenue is potentially worth x, lemme just pay x for the service. I know I’m not alone in this sense.

I’ve heard about it but didn’t realize someone like google would blatantly do this. SMH
On PC, I’ve never watched ads. Only bought premium after getting an iPhone 2 years ago.
Appreciate being able to support creators while not watching ads ¯_ (ツ)_/¯ , lot of good that did me.

Wait, what the FUCK!?!
This price increase is live for new subscribers as seen on youtube.com/premium. Instead of $11.99, YouTube Premium now costs $13.99/month. Meanwhile, it’s $18.99 if you’re subscribing from the iOS YouTube app.
I’ve been paying $4/month over market rate this whole time?
