The last month has been so busy with other things that I completely forgot about my chilli plants. Yet they still gave me a lovely harvest.
I turned the Lemon Drop chillies into a kind of pasta with onion and ginger, and used the Siberian House Pepper to make two litres of sweet and sour chilli sauce.
The UFO, Dragon’s Breath and bush peppers will probably end up drying in the oven.
Not bad for neglected plants.

@RonjaBiernat I also tried some chili plants in pots because of what I saw you and some other people posting around sowing time. I did not get much. Someone I know who did the same in their yard gave me a part of their harvest though, because it was a glut. I've also never really seen bell peppers offered on roadside stalls by people whose plot overproduced untill this year. Must have been good weather for capsicums @gardening
@meeoo @gardening Nice one for giving it a go! Even a small harvest can be fun.
To be honest, I just put my pots outside in a sunny spot and let nature do its thing. If I’d kept them indoors, they probably wouldn’t have survived!
