The former industrial Sappi site in Lanaken (Limburg, in eastern Flanders) is set to have a new future. The Dutch company Switch Datacenters plans to build a large data centre there. The investment ranges from hundreds of millions to over one billion euros. The new data centre could directly create between 150 and 250 jobs, reports newspaper Het Belang van Limburg on Friday.
