hollie@social.coopHey hey, sock knitters of the Fediverse! I usually do socks with flap heels. But recently I've been watching videos about German short row heels, and they look so cool! I like worsted weight socks, so the slimness of this method really appeals - it might help my thick socks fit better in my shoes.
Have you tried German short row, and if so, do you find that socks fit or wear differently than the flap heels?
(Also if you happened to have tried Cat Bordhi's Sweet Tomato heel, which I have before and liked - are German short rows similar? They look kinda close).
