Yooo, I got dengue in Cuba once. That is no joke. I was exhausted, running a temp, and my back was itchy af. Luckily, Cuba healthcare is INSANE good, so they took care of me well. I went to the ER and got seen by 2 doctors at the same time within 15 mins of arriving. They ran blood work and saw me again. The whole visit took 45 mins. The doctors sent me home and told me too come back if my temp went over 39/40 (I can’t remember). The next day, a nurse showed up to my place to check in on me and kept coming back daily until she thought I was ok. They also sent an exterminator to fumigate my family’s apt…all without charge and I’m not even a Cuban resident. They did this for a “tourist”.
