🏍️ RRR ’26 — VATTAVADA

RAW. RUSTIC. REMOTE.

Somewhere deep in the Western Ghats, away from the usual weekend destinations, sits Vattavada — a tiny hamlet in the Munnar region, surrounded by forests, winding mountain roads and very little else.

This October, we're heading there.

Not for a luxury getaway. Not for a packed tourist itinerary.

20 riders. Long roads. A remote campsite. Two nights in the hills.

And hopefully, a few stories worth bringing back.

📍 THE RIDE
WHEN : 2nd – 4th October 2026
WHERE : Vattavada, Munnar

MEETING POINT : Attibele Toll Plaza

🕓 DAY 1 — 2ND OCTOBER

03:30 AM — Meet at Attibele Toll Plaza
04:00 AM — Ride starts

Yes, 4:00 AM means 4:00 AM. 😄
It's going to be a long day on the motorcycles, with forest sections and mountain roads along the way. The final stretch to the campsite may also involve some off-roading / rough terrain.

Our target is to reach the property before 5:00 PM and, importantly, before sunset.

🌲 DAY 2 — 3RD OCTOBER

A day to slow down.

We'll explore Vattavada and the surrounding area, with local sightseeing and activities planned through the day.

🏍️ DAY 3 — 4TH OCTOBER

Morning — Check out & ride back to Bengaluru.

🌿 BEFORE YOU SIGN UP

This is a remote campsite.
Bathrooms are limited, so please be considerate of everyone else using the facilities. Keep things moving and be courteous to the next person in line.
There may be rough/off-road sections near the property, so come prepared for your motorcycle to get dirty. That's kind of the point.
If you're expecting a polished resort experience, this isn't it.
If basic comforts, forest surroundings, long hours on the motorcycle and a little bit of getting away from civilisation sound like your kind of weekend — you're in the right place.

🛡️ RIDING GEAR

FULL RIDING GEAR IS MANDATORY

  • Full-face helmet
  • Riding jacket / thick jacket with elbow protection
  • Riding pants / jeans with knee protection
  • Riding gloves
  • Riding boots / high-ankle boots
No sports shoes or casual footwear.

Riders without proper gear at the meeting point will be sent back.

🔧 COME PREPARED
Your bike is your responsibility. Carry the spares and tools appropriate for your motorcycle.
Recommended:
Throttle cable • Clutch cable • Starter plugs • Front & rear tubes • Complete bike-specific tool kit
Mandatory:
Duplicate keys • Appropriate fuses • Chain links • Chain lube
Before the ride:
FULL TANK. CHECK OIL. CHECK TYRES. CHECK BRAKES. CHECK YOUR BIKE.
If it needs a service, get it done before the ride.
Also carry your RC, DL, Insurance & PUC.

️ ONE LAST THING

We're riding as a group into a remote location. That means punctuality, preparation and responsible riding matter.

Get enough sleep before Day 1, arrive fuelled and ready, and don't underestimate the distance or terrain.

And, as always, handle your alcohol responsibly. Don't let your evening become someone else's problem. Repeatedly making others uncomfortable after getting intoxicated may mean this is your last IBRMC ride.
