Is it possible to configure Friendica such that conversations are always collapsed?

It seems to me that the default logic is that a conversation is expanded if someone I follow has participated in the discussion. The result is that for long conversations it sometimes feels like doom-scrolling - just to get to the next article.

Having conversations collapsed by default would mimick the UX of Facebook, btw.
