More honest reporting than everything else reported this week on the issue.
“There has been a smear campaign against Palestinians… by smearing us as anti-Semites or as people who are celebrating terror and that could not be further from the truth.”
And yet the same guy says:
“I did, at the time, point out there were anti-Semitic phrases that I heard”
I don’t think he understands the phrase “that could not be further from the truth.”
So because a small group of people who were asked to leave said something anti-semetic, that means they all are to you?
Steady on. No need to get dramatic and accusing me of stuff.
If nobody said anything racist then that would be further from the truth.
The guy misspoke saying nothing could be further from the truth.

NSW Police say forensic analysis has found no evidence the phrase “gas the Jews” was chanted in videos circulating online from a pro-Palestinian rally at the Sydney Opera House in October.
On October 9, hundreds of pro-Palestinian protesters rallied at the landmark, which was lit blue and white in solidarity with Israel following the Hamas attacks on the Jewish state.

Misleading reporting. The police statement this week specifically says it wasn’t doctored.

I think the ‘veracity’ in question was the captioning.

Indeed the captioning wasn’t floating like a hologram in real life. That is understood.
By not mentioning the captioning in the article it gives the wrong impression that the video was doctored. Indeed that is what Antoinette Lattouf is implying this week.
