Context: Hitler put von Greim in charge of the Luftwaffe after Göring messed up. When he flew into Berlin during the final days of WWII, Soviet anti-aircraft fire hit him and he crash-landed right in front of the Brandenburg Gate. So he was a bit late for the meeting.
