Please help me understand a time zone issue. Sorry, I’m new here.

There is a GitHub w3c/socialwg issue for a 2026-08-07 Joint WG/CG Series A meeting at 14:00 UTC on that date. That is 07:00 Pacific Time (Vancouver Canada).

In the Upcoming Events page on this SocialHub, for 2026-08-07, there is an entry for a “SocialWeb CG Community Monthly Meeting” starting at 10:00 Vancouver time, so 17:00 UTC on that same date. Clicking on the event entry in calendar leads to a 2024 vintage page “SocialWeb CG Community Monthly Meeting”.

Is the Upcoming Events calendar entry a lingering repeating instance of the 2024 meeting series, which has been superseded by the 2026 meeting agenda posted in the GitHub issue? If so, it would perhaps be helpful to delete the repeating calendar entry.

Or is the calendar entry intended to refer to the exact same occurrence as described in the GitHub issue? In that case, there appears to be a start time discrepancy.

Meanwhile, there is a calendar at w3.org which has an entry for 7 August 2026 | Social Web CG/WG Joint Call - Series A | W3C , which appears to match the agenda in the Github issue. So perhaps the w3.org socialcg calendar calendar is the one I am supposed to refer to?

I am still having a hard time pulling these different event listings together in my head. Thank you for helping me understand.
