In 2014, we had our first holiday in Iceland. Fate smiled on us, and Bárðarbunga volcano erupted in Holuhraun, just north of Vatnajökull glacier in the Icelandic Highlands. The day before we arrived in Akureyri, we saw an advert for flights across the site. We booked it immediately. This video is a compilation of part of what we saw.
