Na Monthermé zijn we doorgereden naar Charleville-Mézière, een gemeente die bestaat uit zes voormalige zelfstandige plaatsen. We wilden graag op de camperplaats staan, die naast camping Mont Olympe ligt, maar doordat we de verkeerde ingang namen, kwamen we op de camping terecht. Hierdoor hadden we uiteraard wel de mogelijkheid om een douche te kunnen nemen. Charleville-Mézières is zeker een bezoekje waard, want we hebben alleen Mézières gezien. De stad ligt in een groene omgeving, wat een fijne bonus is als je geen zin hebt om de stad in te gaan.
Gedurende ons gehele verblijf, bleef - jammer genoeg - het weer zich van zijn mindere kant laten zien. ------------------------------------- After Monthermé, we drove on to Charleville-Mézière, a municipality consisting of six former independent places. We wanted to be at the RV park, which is next to campsite Mont Olympe, but because we took the wrong entrance, we ended up at the campsite. This obviously allowed us to take a shower. Charleville-Mézières is definitely worth a visit, because we only saw Mézières. The city is in a green environment, which is a nice bonus if you don't feel like going into town.
