In this episode of Marx in Minutes, we look at Chapter 9 of Capital (Chapter 7 in the Paul Reitter edition). We set aside constant capital and focus instead on variable capital and surplus value. Together, these make up the new value created by labor in the production process. We consider how this new value is split between workers and capitalists.
