Completely unrelated: A feature that server likely has that you should investigate is called “iDRAC”. There is probably a dedicated NIC on the back for it. It allows you to power on the server, control most “BIOS” features, and see the screen remotely.
A lot depends on your usage and particular needs. I’ve always grabbed used drives off ebay and run them as a mirror or raid6. This option can even turn up genuine Dell drives including the caddies fairly cheap.
I usually get mine from ServerPartDeals. They’ve always had low prices when I look. You can also look at this tool, though it’s not all-inclusive: diskprices.com

Any SATA or SAS drive should work just fine. If you need some hot swap caddies, you can buy them fairly cheap on Amazon: www.amazon.com/s?k=dell+t320+drive+caddy
I’ve personally used the WorkDone brand caddies, and they work just fine!
