    I wouldn't call it a ripoff. The music is a very intentional mix of scores from important themes in Picard's life (like the Borg in First Contact), telling the same story as the show.

  Thanks for that added YouTube link. You know I was just gonna go listen to it anyway. Granted… I might just rewatch the final episode of Season 3 just to see the Poker scene again.
