I wouldn’t mind supporting creators by watching a few ads. But ads are out of control; the number of ads now really dampens the viewing experience. I feel like I have no choice but to use an ad blocker or just not watch YouTube. Basically what happened to cable television is now happening to streaming services. I quit watching cable and stopped my service because the ads were just too numerous. For me, the YouTube entertainment value doesn’t justify its premium subscription price.
