I'm not able find anyone on Mastodon. I see errors in my log like 

2026-07-29T14:38:46Z	WARNING	app	System account not found.
2026-07-29T14:38:46Z	WARNING	app	No actor name was found.

When I go to my admin settings I see a field named "Name of the system actor" which is blank with description
"Name of the internal system account that is used to perform ActivityPub requests. This must be an unused username. If set, this can't be changed again." I try entering a value in the field; the page reloads, the field is still empty and the error continues.

is this related to me not federating over ActivityPub? Is it related to me only federating over some DRFN (i.e. I'm posting this from a different account because @truly@yours.jimfulner.com can't find this group)
