What's new

Bug fixes

  • Enforce Torque Control and NNLC could both be enabled at the same time. This update resets them if you had both on so you can pick one.
  • Restored carState.brake for Honda Gas Interceptor users. An upstream deprecation broke brake reporting on these cars.
  • Reverted the Lancia Delta HF Integrale driver monitoring model that was causing issues.
  • Fixed max time offroad values in sunnylink.

Model validation

  • modeld_v2 now checks model integrity before loading. If a model file is corrupted or incomplete, it won't crash — it'll reject the file instead.

Upstream sync (openpilot v0.11.1)

From comma.ai's openpilot:

  • Better driver monitoring camera pipeline
  • Better thermal management on comma four (fan setpoint tuning, CPU core frequency capping)
  • Fixed a capnp memory leak
  • Fixed YUV padding in driver monitoring
  • Acura MDX 2022-24 support
  • Rivian R1S and R1T 2025 support

Rivian (opendbc)

  • Suppressed the ACM hold-the-wheel warning during MADS lateral-only mode. Rivian drivers were getting a false warning when sunnypilot handled steering without longitudinal control.

sunnylink

Legacy params metadata is deprecated. The migration is automatic, so no action needed. We also added a CarParams fallback for brand-specific capabilities, which makes vehicle detection more reliable on first boot.

sunnylink works on comma four and comma 3X. You can pair from on-device settings or at sunnylink.ai.
