Mercury Meltdown was released for the PlayStation Portable on October 3rd 2006.
The successful follow up to PSP game Archer Maclean’s Mercury.
Meltdown tasked players with getting balls of mercury through a stage by tilting the entire stage. Players must navigate various obstacles usually by changing the state of the Mercury of even its colour.
The mercury blob can be frozen to pass over rails or split apart using sharp edges of the stage.
If too much mercury is lost by falling off the stage the game is over.
Mercury Meltdown is a fun puzzle game and perfect for playing in short bursts during a commute or visits to a certain room in the house.
