I tried VLC but it doesn’t render in custom font
Is there an app that lets me view a .mkv video with .ass subtitles that let's me install custom fonts used in subtitles?

If I’m not mistaken, VLC should support embedded fonts. Are they embedded correctly in the subtitles?

They should be sideloaded from .otf and .ttf file and side loading doesn’t work. For now I am trying MX player to see if it will work
