A shooting near Seattle’s Space Needle at the Seattle Center left multiple victims on Sunday evening during the Bite of Seattle festival, with at least 2 dead and 5 injured in stable condition, according to sources from the Seattle Fire Department contacted by local media.
Police are investigating the events, which occurred around 6:00 PM Pacific Time, and have asked the public to avoid the area. Officials have not disclosed whether any suspect has been arrested.

The Seattle Center, a tourist and cultural complex that houses the city’s iconic Space Needle, was hosting the Bite of Seattle festival at the time – one of the city’s largest public events, featuring over 300 food and promotional stalls. Local media confirmed the shooting took place in that vicinity.
