Hi, I got help with an Uber home from work last night (this morning? Idk what to call it), thank y’all so much ♥️ I’m gonna be real, today’s post is going to be whinier than usual. I usually try to downplay my needs out of humility I was taught as a kid, today is not one of those days. You know, I don’t want to make my request for financial assistance manipulative through being emotionally explosive and overly centering myself

So I feel dumb for just now realizing this, I have been getting absolutely fucked by bug bites for the past month because I haven’t had access to a laundry machine. I even have a bug bite on my dick, it’s terrible. This whole time I’ve thought every bug bite I’ve ever had has been a mosquito bite, but tonight I saw a picture of a chigger bite because I googled asking how I’m getting mosquito bites under my socks. Apparently I need to wash my clothes to myremove any stragglers. Washing and drying will be relatively cheap, I just need help with some Ubers because I have too many clothes to just take the bus. One trip in a car would be fine though. That’ll be about $30 too

Then there’s my anxiety med, a controlled substance and CNS depressant called Lyrica. I haven’t had it in a few weeks due to finances and the pharmacy fucking with me. I’ve only been getting about 2 hours of sleep a night since I’ve been off it, my insomnia and executive function are really off without it. That’s about $10 for the med, and this is me being whiny but after getting shot at this morning, I don’t really want to take the bus required to get to the pharmacy (or at least not without anything for anxiety), I’ve faced threats and genuine danger on that bus every time I’ve ridden it with only one exception. It’s about $15 for the Uber there, but once I’m back on my meds I’ll just take the bus to save money. So that’ll be about $30 for my meds.

Finally, transportation for work. Tonight is my last day of work for the week until I get my schedule for the upcoming week. I may make another post about transit when that happens, but for now I’m just worried about tonight.
