Hi queers!

Pride month has come to an end, and I bet it left many of you as wiped and overstimulated as it did myself - but as the Polish saying goes, ‘the Pride keeps marching’; many fantastic things happened, and many are happening, but we cannot switch to stand-by mode and sit waiting, there is still plenty of things to be done!
🏳️‍⚧️ First and foremost, the Dublin Trans and Intersex Pride is upon us this coming Saturday at 2PM on Dame Street starting from under the City Hall and marching for the Leinster House, shouting and chanting to demand better healthcare, equal rights, and basic respect - and they need the numbers, and they need our support, so if you only can, make sure to show up and make some noise. I will definitely be there! Go to their Linktree to check out what those fantastic people are doing and how to best support them.

There is also some arguably good news:

• I posted about new bill that would introduce X markers and better recognition for intersex and trans* people in Ireland
• GCN informs about a meeting that the govt representatives had with some important LGBTQIA+ community organizations
• we also heard about amazing turnout on the first Budapest Pride since Orban’s removal
• and on a less cheerful note about at least 50 brave people facing arrest after attending Pride in Istanbul despite government ban
  I also made a little experimental community called Glimmers at !glimmers@queer.irish , where I aim to share nice things that happened to me and uplifted my spirits a little - and you are absolutely invited to join!
