India fails to re-establish communication with its Moon probe::undefined
Im only half joking here but I bet the problem is because the probe is trying to send a signal to India, but modi already had them change everything to say Bharat so now the probe can’t communicate with an unknown server or something
How did NASA handle the comms with Curiosity? Maan you’ve got to appreciate NASAs engineuity
The Mars has an atmosphere and a more typical day length. It doesn’t get that cold there.
The length of a day on the moon is 29.5 days, and there’s not atmosphere.
The rover spend 14 days at a few degrees above absolute zero.
Electronics don’t survive that. Weird shit happens when it gets that cold.
Er, no. Absolute zero is -273.15°C (-459.67°F) while the moon at its coldest is about -173.15°C (-297.67°F) so you’re about 100°C off.

The Vikram lander and rover weren’t designed to survive the lunar night so this was expected, but a loss nonetheless.

Right? 14 days at a few degrees above absolute zero is really harsh for any electronics. Unless it had a radio isotopes generator, I can’t imagine it surviving.
