Why can authentic connection feel so difficult for gay men?
Some of the beliefs that once helped us protect ourselves can quietly leave us feeling isolated as adults. In this video, I explore seven beliefs that may be keeping gay men lonely without realizing it—from tying our worth to desirability and treating other gay men as competition to fearing vulnerability, rejection, and expressing our emotional needs.
These patterns can affect dating, friendships, relationships, and our sense of belonging within the gay community. Recognizing them is the first step toward building deeper, more authentic connections.
