He kind of dances around it, alludes to it, but doesn’t touch right on the issues at hand. Understandably in a way. We are letting our politicians surrender us, and our societies, and western culture, to tech, to fascists like peter thiel. It is past time we get new leaders that will not allow tech’s trojan horses of age checks and chatcontrol to be carried inside the walls of liberal democracy. That will not allow all information everywhere to be collected and sifted by tech to control everything about us, pick winners and losers, loans, jobs, background checks, the digital prices we get offered as their cctv cameras or online stores know our profiles, and even what our search engines will show us for information.
Our lawmakers are surrendering us to the Peter Thiel’s of the world, without a fight, or without knowing that is what they are doing, without us knowing, for the worst people in the world to order society and decide which people get treated well and which don’t in everything from business to government, to online dating.
