Not really. My opinion may be wrong, but at least I’m not alone with it.
What you’re describing is what I meant to communicate; but may not have used the correct word for it.

Interesting, I attributed it to the data not being completely up-to-date before. And my upvote made the server do some syncing, so more current information is available

pretty sure it makes your client do the syncing.
But yes, your client syncs whenever you load the current/next page, so by the time you’re at the bottom there will be a lot of people that have upvoted before you even saw the post.
