The article talks a lot about changes that will encourage import from the EU, while saying India’s motivation is their reduced export volume. But it doesn’t explain how India’s exports will be bolstered. I’d go as far as to say it’s a bad article, because now I have to go find another to actually learn what the implications are.
I think that the real kicker for India is a boost to manufacturing, and possibly to make them more interesting for investors. But yeah, it maybe wasn’t the best article in that tense.
