    I wouldn’t call it the slow lane. Chapter 14 of BokuYaba is where Ichikawa realises he likes Yamada, so he’s on pace. Heck, compared to most romance stories, that’s pretty quick.

      Sorry - I must not have been clear enough.

      I don’t mean romantic progress as a whole. I mean things like figuring out what the question “Are you interested in anyone?” is actually asking.
