How do I describe to this?

‘Star Trek’ is the best SciFi TV (SciFi movies watched have been better, like ‘Matrix’, ‘Avatar’ & Etc.) there is. Grew-up as a ‘Star Wars’ movies fan, but matured into adulthood (beyond just ‘Star Wars’ entertainment of wars & with outside original 4th-6th ‘Star Wars’ movies being horrible) replaced with ‘80s-‘2000s TV ‘Star Trek’. Favorite shows are ‘Deep Space 9’ & ‘Strange New World’.

I mean Star Trek is certainly the best franchise when you include T.V. Movies, books, games, etc. But I would be willing to put Stargate SG-1 up against any particular Trek. TNG could probably beat it but it would be close.

  The ‘90s were a pretty magical time for sci-fi on TV. I’m not going to pick favourites today, but both SG-1 and Babylon 5 really gave Trek a run for its money.

  ‘Stargate’ & it’s ‘SG-1’ were great, but my politically & morally-ethically beliefs over just again violence puts them behind ‘Star Trek’. What does ‘TNG’ standing for?
