macOS 26.2, which is currently in beta testing, introduced a new feature that aims to make you look better during video calls. It places a virtual ring of light on the screen to illuminate your face and improve the image quality, particularly in dark environments. One of Microsoft’s VPs decided to bring a similar thing to Windows. Lo and behold, Windows Edge Light. Currently available as a standalone app, Windows Edge Light might soon make its way to PowerToys.
