Hello !technology@lemmy.world,
after checking several communities, I found this community to be the right one to give you some insight, and I hope it’s ok.
I’ve been using several browsers, starting with Internet Explorer back in the days. I was also a Chrome and Brave user a long time. Never became friends with Safari, nor with LibreWolf which I have been using lately.
LibreWolf has a good concept but on some websites it completely slowed down my computer, also I don’t think it’s the best way to get informed of updates by installing extensions, and actually, both extension I tried didn’t work correctly.
I use: Firefox + Betterfox user.js (with smooth scrolling, the 90 Hz option) + uBlock Origin + Bitwarden + Kagi.com (yes, I pay for my search engine) + NextDNS
Feels great. Finally, I think I found a solid base to work with and I hope that I can inspire someone to use it as well.
Kagi.com is a great search engine that values privacy and gives currently the best search results, similar as to what Google provided a couple years ago before changing the algorithm. NextDNS is easy to setup with many modern filter/protection options against malware.

Post a list of those links, because I have NEVER seen such a list so far. People complain and never show what is causing an issue.

Does LibreWolf add the missing API to enable Cookie AutoDelete to work? Because I thought it didn’t work since Firefox 86 and TCP/strict mode.
Also Firefox already has a way to delete cookies and storage between sessions:
privacy.clearOnShutdown_v2.cookiesAndStorage. No need for an extension.q1p_@lemmy.zip 1 day ago
Hey, for me it was for example Reddit and surprisingly YouTube, and also a few minor websites I don’t remember. LadyBird seems to be interesting, I will start monitoring this project, thank you for mentioning.
