“Mum felt ill on the hill climb. She was asked to head down, unescorted. Then the ship left, apparently without doing a passenger count.”
First, taking an 80 year old on a hill climb is unwise, but when they feel ill, asking them to go back without an escort is a little more than “failure of care”.
