I’ve been looking for simpler (and cheaper) smart watches than the mainline ones. Something like the original Pebble watch. I don’t need my watch to be a computer or a phone, I just need it to pause music and see notifications.
I might look into a watch like this

I’ve been eyeing Watchy for the exact same reason. Definitely need to line up a replacement for my original Pebble when it bites the dust, and this trend of esp32 devices sounds just up my alley!
