I feel bad for her. I can’t imagine being stupid enough to believe that you can hang around with people like this, and not get treated like garbage. They are literally living examples of the kind of shit they spew online…and yet somehow, these girls still don’t see them for who they are, until it’s too late.

If they abused her it is them who are responsible, not her.

That certainly goes for normal practice, but there is also an element of ignoring the warning signs and the zookeepers, climbing in the cage with the lion, and being shocked when mauled. It’s not like they made a secret of their attitudes.
Totally agree with you. I think society/politics has become polarised to the extent that we’ve all grown colder towards perceived “enemies”; at the same time people shouldn’t be victim blamed for abuse, no matter how dumb they are.
Additionally, what we perceive as “dumb” can sometimes be other people struggling with mental illness or disability.
Tommy Robinson simping for a woman-raping Muslim like Tate proves that it was never about protecting women, not was it even about being against Muslims.
It was always plain ol’ racism.

Lauren Southern was touring English-speaking nations in 2018 and working with local far right figures. In this early part of her career, Southern was linked to the ‘alt right’ and accused of ‘tiptoeing at the precipice of outright white nationalism’. A year earlier in 2017, she released a video promoting the ‘great replacement theory‘, which is a white nationalist conspiracy theory.
Am I supposed to feel sorry for this person? I’m asking a serious question: am I being asked to spend empathy on this person who clearly spends none of her own empathy on anyone else?
Why does Tommy and other right-wing goons all have Turkey Teeth? Do you need Turkey Teeth to join their club - bearing in mind lots of Tommy’s followers seem to have missing teeth?
