Is there any right or left left? How can we tell right from wrong, and left from right.

Interestingly, the meaning of right and left being directions is fairly recent in English.
Originally right meant straight, true, proper. Right hand meant the proper hand to use. The left hand was considered wrong. Left meant weak or foolish.
(Even up to the 1970s left handed children were often punished in school for not using their right hand)
