I heard that 99% of all of these documents have been lost. What are some notable ones??
What are some notable ancient Greek and Roman documents that have been lost?

Been loving the phone app myself lately. Must have 30 tabs open right now. Very smooth with the bookmarking…

So much of Aeschylus is missing. He pretty much invented Greek tragedy.
en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aeschylus
He wrote somewhere between 70 and 90 plays, of which only 7 survive.
Pretty much the same for Aristophenes, only now we’re talking comedy instead of tragedy.
en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aristophanes
11 surviving plays (Lysistrata is LEGIT!), 30 or so missing. :(
“Frying-Pan Men” ? I want to know that story…
