I’ve added several new features based on feedback and deeper testing since its initial release:

256-color support with --color / -c toggle Quiet mode via --quiet / -q Self-updating from your repo directory with --update Multi-distro installer with support for Debian, Arch, and macOS (via apt, pacman, or brew) –version flag added Respectful backup of your existing configs during install. Clean logging and terminal-friendly design

XTide86 works on color-rich setups (like GNOME Terminal + ncurses-term) and minimal shells (tty) alike. It supports visual theming, new file launching (xtide86 <filename>), and clean, custom scripting workflows.
